How did the Ancients become corrupted .in the first place, why they turned to beast and in your opinion, when did this happen (I feel it's after the beasts became free)

For now?

The Prophet wanted to save everyone he could, even if he had to delve into the dark side of his magic.

The Lover allowed her passion to seep into overindulgence, deriving joy from whether it be from fighting to drinking.

The Tower allowed Affogato to get into his head, until it backfired on Affogato and the results ended up being worse then he could imagine.

White Lily knew how dangerous the world could be and now that she had the Silver Kingdom to take care of, she had to stay strong. She saw how the Beasts could sow chaos firsthand with Shadow Milk and the now Lady of the Lilies vowed to never let that happen again, to extreme results.

The Gleaming Goddess never could let anything go, she considered everyone and everything under her rule as her treasures. She saw the whole world as her treasure, something she must have. Her greed is never satisfied.

A hyper militaristic, borderline dictatorial society in which the military has gone into almost every aspect of life. In the former AU it would be because well... Y/N Cookie is evil and has a thirst for power and expansion. The Cookie Kingdom could always have more land, more gold, more jewels, a bigger army, a bigger fleet, more power. In the latter AU it'd be out of necessity because there are 10 different beasts on Earthbread, all with eyes on their kingdom and ruler and all with their own kingdoms and forces at their command. At that point, militarism might be required to keep the peace for more than a week and to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

The Frostbite Cacao army is treacherous.

The Jamberry army is ruthless.

The Prophet’s herd is selfless.

The Empress’ army is numerous.

And the Lady’s silver knights are merciless.

Strawberry Crepe, along with every other technological engineers’ work you have is never done in this AU.

It’s a necessity that you have ships, airships, tanks, satellites, the whole deal to fight off the Beasts of both sides.
